Substitution of up to 10% of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cement\">cement<\/a> with natural zeolite\u00a0<strong>increases the closed porosity<\/strong>\u00a0and consequently improves the resistance of concrete to freezing and thawing.
